9 SECRETS TO LOSE WEIGHT

 

Hey people! I thought I would take the time to list out some of the things that I do to stay in shape, or the things I do to get in shape when I fall off track!

First things first

Set Goals.

Knowing what you want to do if very important whether in regards to fitness or life. Always have a game plan. In order to achieve results, you have to know what you want to accomplish.

Envision.

Visualizing is unbelievably powerful. You have to picture success in order to take the step required to achieve it. Believing that you can achieve your goals will drive you to success.

Food.  

There are a lot of misconception about eating less to lose weight. This is false. We need the right foods to be healthier. Making healthier food choices helps with the weight loss process. It also helps with a lot of things like our nails, hair, skin, energy level. Etc.

Water.

We need water! Drink as much water as your body needs to stay health.  Water takes out the waste for the body and it also helps prevent diseases.

Start Slow.

Remove the “I want it now” mentally. Do not rush the process!  Take your time when trying to lose weight, you will notice results eventually. Slow process is better than no process. Sometimes we find that we enjoy the journey better than the destination.

Avoid Quick Fixes.

AVOID QUICK FIXES! People will try to take advantage of you by telling you things you want to hear. Do not fall for quick fixes like waist trainer, diet teas, diet pills or the other gimmicks people try to sell you.

Do Not Compare.

We are all on different levels. Focus on yourself, work hard and stay consistence. Eventually you will find yourself at a higher fitness level.

Mix it Up.

Push yourself and try new challenges. Mixing up your workout also prevents boredom. When our workouts become routine, it becomes much difficult to do.  Mix it up and have fun!

Stay Positive.

Surround yourself with positive people! Do not be around people or things that bring you down. DO be around people that what to see you do better in life! Think positive thoughts and stay encouraged.

These simple steps can change your life. I believe that you have the ability to achieve your goals.
