The Summer ‘lifestyle’ Hacks You Need

Hey, my loves. So, I am ecstatic that summer is finally here. I have time to finally do the things that I have always wanted to do without worrying about jeopardizing my academics and I know most people feel the same way. FREEDOM!

Summer is one of the best time to execute self-development; Less stress and more time. I would consider this time of year the ‘chill-out’ season especially for students, that is; if you are not taking summer classes. Needless to say, you still can have fun.
I thought It would be fun to share some summer hacks that aren’t too late to achieve.

Get Fit
I know the goal is to get in shape before summer but remember this, it is never too late to get in shape. You might not have the summer body right away but you will be one step closer.

De-clutter
Ever notice the mental freedom you have when things are in order? Literally or figuratively speaking. When you get rid of things that you don’t need you have room to breathe and relax. Utilize the time you have now to get your life in order. Take advantage.

Read
Regardless of what time of year it is, educate thyself! You don’t have to make commitments to read an entire book but read in such a way that you gain new knowledge every day.

Go Out
Take it from someone who naturally a homebody. GET OUT OF YOUR HOUSE. Opportunities will not come knocking at your door. Go out and exposure you never know what you might find.

Travel
Tying this to “Go out”, It is a myth that you need a lot of money to travel. Travel as much as you can. Whether near or far, the experience is worth it.

Say Yes
Don’t be the no-sayer, trust me I’ve been there. If you say no a lot, you will eventually stop getting asked. Say yes to opportunities because you do not know where it might take you.

Plan/Create a Vision Board
Now is the time to plan for the rest of your year out. (Where am I now vs. where I want to be) Do not wait until things become hectic and overwhelming, Get a move on it!

Have Fun
Because you deserve a break!

Always remember is never too late to start a goal no matter how big or small.

With love,
MO
